To meet the needs of area businesses, UW-Rock County, UW-Platteville, Forward Janesville and the Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce joined forces in 2005 to offer an engineering degree program on the UW-Rock campus.  The resulting UW-Platteville Rock County Engineering Program offers majors in both Electrical and Mechanical with coursework from the Janesville campus!

We designed our program with working adults in mind, while maintaining the benefits of an established, respected university curriculum:

• Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) recognized UW-Platteville degree
• Classes scheduled based on student avaialbility (including evenings, weekends, online) 
• Convenient Janesville campus location featuring quality instrumentation and equipment
• Excellent opportunity for engineering professionals who would like to earn a bachelor's degree
• Professional engineering students to fill co-op or internship positions
• World-class University of Wisconsin education
