Graduation

The rewards for all of the time, effort and money put into your schooling are many. Along with the knowledge you gain, and the career opportunities that become possible, you will receive a diploma.

All students who complete our engineering bachelor degree program will graduate from UW-Platteville.  To prepare, be sure to review information on UW-Platteville’s Graduation process (at the latest, the semester before you plan to complete Bachelor of Science degree requirements).  After you’ve applied to graduate, the Registrar's Office at UW-Platteville will produce a final evaluation of your credits - which will formally review all credits taken, transferred, or substituted/waived, and detail which coursework remains or has not yet been taken.

  • Students must complete all coursework (including co-ops, internships and independent study) before being awarded a degree and allowed attendance at the Commencement ceremony
  • UWP holds Commencement twice each year – at the end of the fall and spring semesters

Use our advising services to monitor and better understand your progress, and work with the Collaborative Program Director to manage issues that might affect your degree planning.

If you are finishing Associate Degree requirements with UW-Rock County, consult their Student Services office for graduation information.  You will only graduate from UW-Rock if you are completing an associate degree.  If you have met UW-Platteville general education requirements, and/or are only taking pre-engineering courses with UW-Rock, then you would not take part in their graduation ceremony.
